We have been around for a long long time and produced many great fighters. Check your boxing history and recognize what the Philippines has contributed to the sport from Pancho Villa to the inventor of the Bolo puch. The Philippines is a small country with a smaller population and our ratio of greats is pretty damn good considering. It is also harder for a fighter in the P.I. to get recognized in the U.S. because of geography. If it were not for Manny being a substitute fighter for Ledwaba, alot of the Pinoy fighters you get to see showcase their talent lately on solo boxeo and t.v. Azteca and many of the HBO undercards would have never gotten a chance. The Philippines is comming up and joining the fray once again in boxing. Just look at what our fighters getting coverage here in the U.S. have been doing lately. They are winning.

Ok let me rephrase, JMM outsmarted and outboxed pacman for the majority of the fight. You are ignoring a legit question, but your biasedness does not allow you to admit that the better fighter on that night was JMM.

The JMM debate is mute. Just get the rematch going. I for one think JMM will be Manny's toughest opponent. JMM is the reason for everyone thinking Manny is one dimensional. He was masterful at controlling the distance and was awesome in that fight. Pac will have to prepare or he will end up looking one dimensional again. We will see if Pac's improvements make a difference in the rematch. Another toss up in my opinion.
