Not sure Froch would to be honest, he's never mentioned Chavez's name. Only hook for him would be to fight in Las Vegas.

simms601- You said I have no knowledge of boxing, let me take you to school

For the record Mike Gonzalez is not my real name, I'll keep my real name anonymous. simms601 you said I have no knowledge of boxing, if that's how you feel, more power to you. I started watching boxing when I was 8 years old the year the New York Mets won the World Series from the Baltimore Orioles, there was this guy that just couldn't keep his mouth shut, I couldn't stand him, there was this sports journalist interviewing the boxer at the time name Cassius Clay [aka The Greatest Muhammad Ali] being interviewed by legendary Howard Cosell from there on I didn't realize that I got hooked on boxing. Next thing you know I started training boxing in Spanish Harlem projects I was 16yrs old, everyone in the small gym "La Sombra Boxing Club" was experienced I was a rookie all of them were New York City Daily News Golden Glove Boxer novice and open class
from 106 to 135 pounds, Hector "Macho" Camacho was 112pounds Junior Olympic Champion, and for the record yes I sparred with Camacho, Pedro Vilella golden glove champ 3 times just like Camacho, everyone was kicking butts at the NYCDNGG. I later started training at Gleasons Gym when it was located on 252 W. 30th street, my locker was right next to Iran Barkley, My trainer Edwin Viruet who fought Roberto" Mano de Pierdra" Duran, I was with Gerry Cooney who at the time was getting ready to fight Larry Holmes, Juan Laporte, Renaldo Snipes, Billy Costello, Mitch Green, Livingstone Bramble, Doug Dewitt, Emile Griffith, the nicest person there was Teddy Atlas he was very slim and had a red jacket. But there is more stuff that went on there that I can't speak about. I was going to turn pro in 1985 I went to Athletic Boxing Commision to get an application to turn pro, but to make a long story short I wasn't prepared I chosed the streets, I was bless with blazing hand speed, defense, and power [think Meldrick Taylor] but hanging out in Spanish Harlem and Alphabet city in the lower east side made it tough. Pot and ******* ain't no joke. Think Chavez Sr., Oscar De La Hoya. I know what Chavez Jr. is going through he's got talent but if he keeps smoking pot his dream of making it to superstardom will be short lived. I live a healthy life know I run, work out and do my acting gigs on "THE MICHAEL J FOX SHOW", it airs on Thursdays 9:30PM CHANNEL 4 Eastern time, I do lots of extra work, I'll be working in the newsroom shave head with suit, for the record I'm a black Puerto Rican. Froch is a bum.

You know Froch is a 4-time world champion and is currently included in most objective pound for pound lists? He's been in 11 world title fights back to back, 10 of them with legit contenders in what is regarded by most as one of the hardest runs in boxing.

It would appear you're 40+ and have watched boxing for a long time so with all due respect you should really know better than to call him a bum or whatever else.

Actually a very young fit 53yrs, I still keep in shape work out at the same gym heavyweight Tomasz "Goral" Adamek trains in Jersey City home of God Bless his soul Arturo Gatti. I had respect for Froch I paid $700.00 for me
and my wifey to see a hell of a fight between Froch and Ward. Froch did not live to the hype, I lose respect for any fighter that doesn't fight back like a man. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez did the same thing, all that hype and what happened. Money May took advantage of the situation because he saw Canelo was tentative. At one point I though Froch was a tough boxer or fighter, but when we finally met his challenge instead of fighting back he folded. The Weebler I, I kid you not. I was close to ringside , Danny Garcia and Angel who was a few feet from me witness the whole thing also. Who is Froch fighting next is his opponent any good. Froch gets discourage easy though.

That's Froch's M.O. mike and he did fight back, he won the last 3-4 rounds but Ward was just better overall and very difficult to hit. It happens in boxing, everyone has their nemesis or kryptonite if they take on all-comers.

I think you should maybe give more credit to Ward for a sublime performance, as opposed to taking it away from Froch.

Froch fights his mandatory George Groves next, top 10 in the division but realistically imo no match for Froch.

Convincing a troll is a losing battle.

One thing this Mike fella doesn't seem to realise is that by calling Froch a bum, takes away Ward's best win.

If Froch is this so called bum, what does that make every opponent of his that got beat by this bum? Ward shot to p4p #2 by beating Froch. How ridiculous of boxing fans to give Ward such an accolade for beating this Brit bum. We may aswell discredit Kessler and Abraham from Ward's resume, because they got beat by the bum too.

Who does that leave on Ward's resume? Bika and a weight-drained Dawson. Fantastic. USA....USA.....USA.

The college of not fat-yank land, learning a little language called English. You know, the one from England.

We also learned that a written question ends with a question mark, but i will let you off with that. Idiot.

It was a beatdown, enough said.

In the span of 3-4 years (where he also took over a year off from the sport) in between the Froch fights he fought nothing but third rate bums and was dropped and almost KO'd by Allan Green. He's probably been on the downhill since at least the Ward fight. His resume is also a bit questionable when you consider that after Froch his best win is probably Beyer.

No **** Sherlock, Froch is a career super middleweight; I'm sure he'd get Dawson'ed if he tried dropping to 160 though. I never compared Froch's and Chavez's resume, that would be ******ed. Froch's resume get's ridiculously overrated, but it is still a very good resume. Learn how to read...

Taylor got had a career ending KO against Pavlik, what's more he was a career middleweight. The guy moved up to 160, hurt and dropped the larger Froch on his ass, and was 10 seconds away from winning a decision against Carl.

No, I'm referring to Andrade KO'ing Bute late in the 12th and then Bute getting a 30 count and getting saved by the bell from a comma.
