Golden Boy made it sound like it was a done deal at the Floyd/Canelo final presser. Should have been done by now.
Maybe they are just securing a site (Vegas or Barclays) and perhaps there is an ongoing negotiation with the money. Alexander is the champion but Khan is the bigger draw.

It'll have to be made official pretty soon if it's gonna happen this year.... seeing as boxers usually have a two month training camp and we're almost in October now.... as much as Khan annoys me his fights are really exciting as he's always one punch away from doing the harlem shake

Given Alexander's abysmal drawing power, I think Schaefer is having second thoughts about it. Could also be that they're saving Khan for Mayweather's next fight.

Well chances are Khan is gonna skip Devon and go for gold cause Floyd/Khan does not happen if Khan fights Devon cause Devon whoops him.
