Gennady's one of my favorite fighters, but he has a long way to go to be an ATG, let alone the greatest MW of today. IMO he mops the floor with Martinez, Barker and Geale, but I'm still on the fence regarding Quillin; GG's never professionally fought anyone as slick as Quillin and Quillin has never fought anyone with GG's power. If Quillin could take away GG's power, I believe he'd beat GG.

BTW Golovkin's on the front cover of this month's Ring Magazine, but I feel like Danny Garcia deserves that spot more. GG was supposed to destroy Macklin. Swift was supposed to be put in ICU (and Angel Garcia was supposed to chop his own head off)

I think he is great. It is too bad he did not go pro at a much younger age.I think Calzaghe was an excellent fighter but I like GGG so much better. I think most of the top guys don't want to fight him no matter how much they say they will fight him. Martinez will fight other guys until he retires. He knows he can't beat GGG.

Gennady Golovkin has already proven to be the most devastating puncher in boxing. He has the cardio,speed,unreal power,and an iron jaw. We haven't seen a guy with this kind of power since "Iron" Mike Tyson.

I guarantee,that Gennady "GGG" Golovkin will go down as one of the top 10 or even top 5 fighters of all time.

He has that kind of potential. He is unreal.

He is the best fighter since Joe Calzaghe.

REALLY jumping the gun on this. I like Gennady, I really do, but I'm not going to make any judgment as to his all time p4p status until he has cleared at least cleared his own division. And I think p4p, he will need to conquer at least two divisions

I wouldn't go that far but I do see a special fighter. If Golovkin and Ward continue to win then this could very well be a big fight in a few years.
