Pacquiao-Rios and Marquez-Bradley are the first PPV's HBO has carried since Pacquiao-Marquez 4 last December. They haven't pushed too many on us and even though the undercards aren't great, with those names, you knew they were going to put them on PPV.
Oh that's why it's on PPV? didn't know so many were on the showtime budget board.

No you're probably right. Let's put two guys who've never been on PPV on a PPV right around Christmas when everyone's spending budget is tight.

        How'd Canelo do BTW?

Broner has alot of fans and can sell a fight. And it's not just about the main the whole card is epic. It's not like it's a broner fight with berto and Diego delahoya on the undercard

Canelo lost. Didn't you watch fight?Oh you expected me to answer like PAC and Lucas fans with a long list of excuses but no I understand it's boxing and didn't go my way this time. Oh well it happens. On to next fight

So the reason you know showtime budget is shot cause they are putting a PPV on around Christmas? How does that make any sense

It would seem like Showtime budget is shot, remember they have us 8 regular cards while HBO gave us one, now HBO is going to give us 6 regular shows while Showtime gives us 2.

I do think this is a pay your fighters ppv.

How many fights does Showtime have scheduled for the last quarter of year, Hopkins-Murat? And that's it.

So you're saying they're Broner-Maidana on there because they expect big numbers, when Mayweather-Guerrero didn't even break a 1 million?

Only Hopkins-Murat is scheduled for the last 3 months of the year on Showtime. Mayweather-Guerrero didn't break a million, no way Broner gets close to that.
