What about shots to the ribs..Your talking like there were none of those,this is getting out of hand and flat out ridiculous..I'm sure if we look hard enough we'll see Matt's land some on Garcia hip and even low..There were even clashes of heads in this fight..It was a bit of a brawl in there with wild swinging..

Garcia had a better game plan and better tools,fouls had nothing to do with him winning this fight..That's my main point..

And as for Matthysse landing low, he didn't. I have no problem acknowledging Lucas hit behind the head and even in the back a couple of times, but he didn't stray low. Even if he did, it was so rare that there's no point comparing his infractions with Garcia's.

Danny Garcia fought a great fight. I've said this many times. He landed effective combinations, held when necessary and took a good shot. He even fouled well. Now, I'm not saying Garcia wouldn't have won without the low-blows -- in fact, I think he would've won anyway -- but that doesn't mean we should look the other way, just because Danny's arm was raised in victory.

There were only 3 cleanly landed low blows to my eyes..I've watch the fight 3 times(now that it's on my dvr)and I counted 3 clean..Two was when Matt's was holding his(Garcia's)head down..Now I'm not saying that shots on the hips did not happen..It was a rough fight,Matt's did his fair share of dirty tactics as well..I really don't hear anyone crying about that tho,I hear people making a stink about 3 low blows..Making a stink so bad that if I did not know any better I would think we were talking about Mares after his bout with Agbeko..Do you believe this was that bad??

If Matt's went low or hit on Garcia hips,it's still a foul..My point is both had fouls,both landed good body shots..Garcia had a better game plan..Why can't we just leave it at that..Cause all tho your saying you are not trying to take anything away from Danny..You are by insinuating that low blows were apart of him game plan..Which you obviously are..

Its a damn fight!!!! If you can get away with, then its fair. Lucas isnt complaining, he lost to the better man that night. People can go back and forth about who fought dirty but it still remains that Dannny won the fight by imposing his style. Im pretty sure we can make tons of videos of every boxer doing something that might be dirty, but if you dont get caught, it didnt happen. The machine is still my boy and will come back twice as strong.

Yeah, there were a lot of low blows, and I thought quite a few were at very convenient times.

However, while it was Danny throwing them, it's still up to the ref to enforce the rules. If he doesn't do anything, Danny will keep throwing them because it gets him an easier win. Guys do what they can get away with, and if that involves some conveniently thrown low blows, they will keep doing it until the ref enforces the rules of the fight. That's what he's there for.

It's pretty clear though that Garcia was throwing some intentional shots and was going to keep doing it as long as he could get away with it. Anyone thinking that that last round low blow was an accident is ****ing daft. That was as intentional a low blow as I've ever seen. Up there with Hattons against Tszyu, Titos against Vargas.

Anyway, I'm not sure it made that much difference. They are very taxing though and he was hit with some pretty nasty ones. Whether it would have changed the outcome doesn't matter now as he also had the eye problem too. Still, it was a clear **** up by the ref and it really should have been payed a lot more attention. It wasn't on the level of Mares obviously, but it certainly helped swing the fight his way at some important times and that stuff shouldn't happen.

Weeks was so lax in his officiating that I was actually a little surprised he took a point in the final round. How sad is that? He warned Garcia rather lightly a couple of times during the fight, but continued to allow the fouls. I guess the last one was so bad that Weeks was embarrassed into taking action.
