Floyd is considerably more athletic. Makes a tremendous difference in terms of impressions. Marquez is equally as skilled and talented as a practitioner of the artform. They're different kinds of fighters.

Marquez resume doesn't compare to Mayweather or Pacquiao's, as great as Marquez is I've always viewed him as an underachiever, a fighter with his talents should be more accomplished, especially by now considering his age. He's still a legend in my eyes though.

The trick of this thread is to say beating Pacquiao is the standard to being great. He praises Manny while bashing Mayweather using Marquez. It's the mentally challenged version of the triangle theory. Bradley has an official win over Pacquiao. Where does he rank on the ATG list? Not to mention that other people have KO'd Pacquiao. What are their names? Marquez KO win means he is a greater fighter than Pacquiao but not Mayweather.

I'd rank JMM higher in the ATG list just based on his wins. The Pac KO is a win that creates legends. Fraud Jr. missed out on that chance. Would you say JMM has better wins against tougher opposition than Mayweather? Discuss.

Floyd has a better body of work than piss drinker
the Pac KO is miles better than anything Floyd's ever accomplished
but on the whole, piss drinker doesn't have quite enough to edge it
don't think he deserved the decision vs Barrera, Marco got robbed
piss drinker's other good wins don't add up to Floyd's resume
FWIW, piss drinker will definitely be remembered in a greater light
but realistically, he's not greater than Floyd
