there's two things that could have happened....

that ko was a result of manny's exuberance and the the collision with force of marquez throwing the perfectly timed shot....

pacquaio had both feet off the ground.... at the point of impact.... that's a ko against anyone....


the more suspect knock down was the overhand right.... because marquez had landed similar punches in their previous bouts and not moved manny...

but the explanation for that is.... weight.... marquez outweighed manny on the official scales.... and in their previous bouts manny had always weighed more.... its the laws of physics.
