Wishful thinking. He will also face harder punchers.Yall remember Miguel Cotto at 140? He was excessively cutting weight and was getting rocked in nearly every fight. When he moved up in weight over the years he was able to take vicious punches by naturally bigger men.
Khan at lightweight was getting rocked by Journeyman that make Julio Diaz look like GGG. It was known that he was draining himself to make 135 back then. When he moved up to 140 he was able to take Maidanas best shots and Khan has been talking about moving up to 147 since 2011 so i guess it gets more and more difficult for him to make 140.

Khan will always have poor punch resistance vs guys that can punch with above average power, that and his leaky defense cause problems as well.
Khan vs a puncher will always be exciting, Khan can out box these guys but at any time they can hurt or KO him, its guaranteed drama.Comment

Especially when you only train when fights loom near and not in between fights oftenAmir needs to shift that extra half stone onto his pegs. That'll stabilise him. He also needs to work on his balance. Crack those two nuts and simply remember to keep that chin tucked in and he'll come on leaps and bounds.
You don't need the best chin and thunder in your hands to be the best boxer, you need speed, footwork, accuracy and more than anything else, intelligence.
He is a rough diamond, and the years are ticking by too quickly for him to learn what he needs to learn in order to become what he wants to become.
Still interested to see what happens in his career, because love or loath him, he's always in a good 'un.Comment
