I'd be MORE than willing to agree with you IF Canelo had been weight drained and it is obvious he was not during training, not at the weigh-in, and not during the fight. He threw MORE punches against Mayweather than he did against Trout so that torches any idea that he was weight drained! End of argument.

Floyd could fight soto karras next may and it will do big numbers if gbp is smart enough to put Canelo/cotto as the co-main event

I have many favorite fighters, Pac is one, he just happened to be in the same weight division as JR , came in after JR , but JR wouldn't fight him. Pac has got to come back from that shot that rang around the world, if he does he is in the mix for a fight with JR.

My hypocrisy only goes so far. I see stuff that Jr does , lots of things , that makes me feel if someone gets to him and hard he will fall apart and I want to see him truly tested not fight has beens that have no chance. Pac can beat him, I don't see anyone on the horizon, like Danny lucas Alexander Maidana thurman and others doing it, but I think for Glory and pride you would think Jr would step out of the box, like great fighters do.

So I say GGG, he is fresh Prime Elite and ready. Why wouldn't , Why WON't the lineal MW champeen of the world fight GGG ?????????

Why would Jr not even answer Sergios' call for battle back in sergios prime but it is sounding like NOW he will fight him. Its a good way to keep the 0 but it does nothing for fans and boxing, unless you are a floyd boy.

Its the same thing as the question I proposed about which Leonard would jr fight the one that fought hearns or the one that fought terry norris

Jr has made his millions fighting small guys and has beens but for Canelo, and gurrero , why hasn't he reached for Glory ?

By the way old dumb one, Pac would have fought the Leonard that JR would Duck, that being the one that fought Hearns

JR would have fought the Leonard that fought TERRY NORRIS

I like how this article is practically a copy/paste of his bleacherreport article.

Were you the one taking the punches he was throwing to be able to say how hard they were????? The only facts are that A) he threw more punches and B) he didn't tire. You have no idea how hard the punches were to be able to conclude anything else.

To be fair, Leonard was also smart about his choice of opponents. He challenged Hagler only when he knew he had a chance. When Hagler was in his prime, Leonard plainly admitted that he wasn't going to fight Hagler because the MW champ was just too big and too strong for him. Though his win was disputed, in terms of pure guts, Leonard gets respect because he came back after a 5 year lay-off and Hagler was still favored to win.

If I had to answer your question directly, I speculate that Floyd would choose the Leonard that fought Norris; that was a sad beat down of a faded fighter, almost as bad as the thrashing Holmes gave to Ali.
