And avenge his loss from the Bradley/Marquez winner to make a Floyd fight big. But Floyd can pick either one after their wins this year and still sell good IMO . But it all depends on those guys winning.
    Good idea. But both scenarios for Khan and Pac are unlikely to play out that way. Khan won't beat Alexander (or Garcia). He'll either have to skip him and go straight to Floyd or he'll just lose and they'll let him fight Floyd anyway.

    Pacman scenario is more likely, but that would mean Floyd would have to wait for him. I don't see that happening either unless he somehow does get Khan to fight in May.

      There are options; they always exist...

        mayweather is that good that he would have to go to 160 or even 168 to find a real challenge. other than pacquiao, there is nobody out there from 140 to 154 that can give him a real challenge.

        iv been saying that mayweather missed a trick when pavlik was the middleweight champ, because in my opinion, had mayweather taken that fight he would of been the middleweight champ. i also think that martinez is there for the taking at the moment and floyd should consider that if he wants to improve his legacy.

        i dont know about everybody else, but whats the point in watching floyd mayweather fight these guys that he is head and shoulders above? a fight isnt interesting to me when its all 1 sided and you know who is going to win before the first bell rings.

            If Khan beats Alexander it will be Khan, no question. A fight in the UK will sell with minimal effort.

            IMO, Pacquiao needs to destroy Rios and defeat either Bradley or Pacquiao before public interest in the bout is where it needs to be. Do that and the fever pitch for Mayweather-Pacquiao will be as high as it ever was.

              I think folks are selling Danny Garcia short. He "tamed the monster" in the highest grossing event in boxing history. He's undefeated, which will always sell to casual fans. And Angel is must see TV. He and Floyd Sr would make this one of the wildest promotions in recent memory. If Floyd got out and actually showed interest in promoting that fight, it would do big numbers. To me, Danny is the logical choice for his next opponent.

              Also, Showtime could match the Broner-Maidana winner (hopefully AB) with the Alexander-Khan winner on the undercard. And then match the winner of that one with Floyd in Sept. If AB emerges, that's a monster promotion that probaby sniffs the 2m mark. If one of the others emerges, its still a very solid PPV that sells over a mil.

                Martinez = Huge numbers if the fighter can make 154 not sure he can after such a lengthy lay off
                Molina = Snoozefest
                Pacquaio = Still breaks the record because both men have huge fanbases across the entire planet..even with a Rios loss on the cards Pacquaio still will draw huge crowds as long as he isnt ko'd again.
                Marquez = Not happening
                Bradley = Not happening
                Lara = Too small of a fan base
                Thurman = Too small of a fan base

                I mean one never knows, because based on how they promote the fight folks actually thought Ortiz and Guerrero were good matchups although neither man really had much a name out there.

                Khan would definitely outsell Martinez, and is Floyd's best option. I know they are pulling for him to get past Alexander, because thats they fight no one wants to see

                  If i was Floyd, i would fight Pac, Pac is on the decline, why not just fight Pac to claim the greatest fighter of the decade? Should be easy money and PPV sells will make 3million easy. I know i would buy it.

                    They will not put Danny in front of FMjr. next. Floyd would kill Angel Garcia before the supposed fight.

                      Its pretty simple to me. The two big $$ fights are Pac and Martinez. They can just repeat the same thing they did this year for the next two years. Light work in May, mega fight in September.

                      Khan/Alexander in May
                      Martinez in September

                      Garcia/Bradley or whoever in May
                      Pacquiao in September
