Easy win?? Wow, going twelve rounds vs " the greatest superhuman on earth" and running in the last two rounds, requesting a catch weight and barely winning via two harmless rights is an easy win ?? I´m beginning to doubt on the credibility of this site´s boxing writers.

I don't understand the excessive praise and adulation he's getting for winning a glorified fencing game of ''it'' for 12 rounds. Dominating is knocking your opponent down, inflicting damage. Canelo looked like he came out of a shower post fight, and a lot of Floyds shots missed, the commentators as usual were all over Floyd's nuts as they usually are.

To be fair, Leonard was also smart about his choice of opponents. He challenged Hagler only when he knew he had a chance. When Hagler was in his prime, Leonard plainly admitted that he wasn't going to fight Hagler because the MW champ was just too big and too strong for him. Though his win was disputed, in terms of pure guts, Leonard gets respect because he came back after a 5 year lay-off and Hagler was still favored to win.

If I had to answer your question directly, I speculate that Floyd would choose the Leonard that fought Norris; that was a sad beat down of a faded fighter, almost as bad as the thrashing Holmes gave to Ali.

Everyone keeps talking about Floyd fighting Martinez or GGG. Personally, I don't think Floyd is obligated to fight middleweights when he maxes out at about 150. But even still. If these two genuinely want a shot at Floyd and feel he is "ducking" them. I have a simple plan for each. Floyd holds belts at welterweight and jr middleweight. If Floyd is what they ultimately want. They should go to either welterweight or jr middleweight and fight the necessary fights to become his mandatory. Then, he has no choice but to fight them. That's my no means a radical concept. Back in the day when Floyd was a lightweight, he wanted an Autoro Gatti fight. Gatti nor his trainer Buddy McGirt wanted the fight. So floyd proceeded to fight Henry Brucelous and "Chop Chop" Corley in eliminators and became Gatti's mandatory. Martinez and GGG should do the same.

whatever people say about the next opponent of mayweather, we cannot deny the fact that only pacquiao can give mayweather a hefty paycheck and good challenge inside the ring. many people say, including the camp of mayweather, that pacquiao will suffer the same fate of canelo et al. my suggestion is, make a 70-30 split in all prizes including PPV buys, 70 for the winner, 30 for the loser. that is, if mayweather really believes that pacman is no-match against him.

many fans (including mayweather camp) believe that floyd does not need to fight pacman anymore. I disagree, I think it is mayweather who needs this fight more than pacquiao, why? for the simple reason that pacman already achieved what other boxers (including mayweather) have never done in their careers, which is 8-division titles. pacman has nothing to prove anymore, it is floyd who has something to prove. when these two greats retire, pacman will always be remembered as the only boxer who achieved that 8-division titles feat, while mayweather will be remembered as an undefeated champion who always badmouthed pacquiao but never had the courage and guts to let his boxing skills do the talking. in the minds of the people, doubts and questions will always be there about how great mayweather is because he did not fight pacman. no matter how great a thing is, if the most important part of it is missing, it will never work. pacquiao-mayweather fight must happen.
