Ortiz would get stopped. This would be a good fight action wise but I don't think he can handle Canelo. I can't see Ortiz being too successful as the smaller fighter when he has been getting beaten up as the bigger fighter. The long lay off doesn't help either.

Ortiz needs to go after fighters like Soto Karass or maybe Guerrero.

I think it would be a one sided KO win for Canelo in a few rounds. I still think Canelo is a damn good fighter but he ran into Mayweather at his best. Lopez fought both Ortiz and Canelo just months apart. He said Canelo was better than Ortiz in every way, especially in hand speed, power, and defense.
