Both coming off a loss. Ortiz is currently filming in the new expendables movie. Canelo probably want some time off after his fight with Floyd. Their styles match up well, it would be a hell of a fight.

By Floyd logic Canelo is undefeated. If you all recall Floyd said Cotto was undefeated because he fought and lost to Pac at a CW. But anyway...
Canelo makes Victor quit. It'll be a good fight in the early rounds, then Ortiz quits mentally and Canelo takes over and stops him in the mid to late roundsComment

Ortiz has enjoyed a lot of corssover success with Dancing with the Stars and now The Expendables. I don't see Golden Boy punching either guys ticket anytime soon; they'll build both of them back up before even thinking about pitting them against each other.

Victor Ortiz is a tough fighter to build back up, but that is a great way to start. Berto doesn't seem to have it anymore. And in a fighter like Victor who seems mentally weak, you put him in with a guy he already beat and that'll be a huge boost to his confidence. Good fight.Comment
