I used to do that too but it was my dads liquor cabinet. He'd give me whiskey when i had a cold or cough, but I developed a taste for it so I'd go sip away on the whiskey sometimes, when everyone was asleep. I was actually only about 6 or 7.

There is nothing that destroys your body like drinking, if he never drank, he would have beaten floyd and maybe even bhop.

That is debatable. Some of the greatest fighters and athletes of all time had a taste for alcohol. In large doses on a consistent basis it can hurt you, but just because Oscar started drinking young doesn't mean he was a boozer and doesn't mean it affected his fight career. Even the stuff about taking a shot before a fight, one shot of tequila will have a very minimal effect on a grown man.

Sorrry but that is pure broseince

Just because some idiots used to drink a shot before a fight 100 yeras ago dos not mean it is good for you.

My brother was on the danish youth cycling team, the did all kinds of test all year round.
One night of drinking would severly cut into your cardio numbers for at least one month.
So the simply did not drink, just like all other pro atleats

I wasn't presenting science, just pointing out situations. Lots of great athletes and fighters alike have been drinkers. Tons of them, really. Just because Oscar had some sips of beer in his youth doesn't mean he was a heavy drinker. Even if he was saying if he didn't means he would have beat Floyd is a step below broscience, my friend.

How about an explanation on the numbers and how it works? It's proven fact alcohol in small doses with have a settling effect on people. When it comes to boxers this would allow them to fight much more relaxed. And as a fighter or former fighter you know how exhausting being tense in the ring can be. I'm thinking one shot can't hurt a guys stamina over 36 minutes, but I don't know how your numbers work.

Oscar needs to stfu about his "drinking" problem, he doesnt look like the unhealthy white spirit drinking bro's i see sitting outside of cash machines asking for money. Trying to save up enough coin to buy themselves some wallpaper stripper to take the edge off their ****ty lives as they hopefully die in their sleep.

No, Oscar likes a little drink and sometimes likes to mix it up with some cross dressing action.

Yes in small amouts, but that is not what we are talking about, drinking 20+ beers, and doing blow until you pass out like Oscar was doing and being hangover half the week after, is a intirely different thing then having a glass of wine now and then.

And sorry but if you think that boxers would benefit for a shot of tequila before a fight you are a straight up idiot and have never been in a fight or in the ring.

When i boxed even if I was drunk a week before, I would suck at sparing.
Some sports you wont feel the alcohol too much but sports that push your body to the extreme, you get punished badly.

I cant belive I am even arguing with you about this, because you clearly talking out of you ass and proberly some drunk ******
