Groves felt he did not get enough attention from Booth and another reason is why they split.
My theory on the Haye cut and Grove's-Booth split

We all have hunches,right.
I criticised and criticise team Haye for prior fake injuries,delaying tactics,negotiation games,tasteless remarks,bad attitudes,inactivity,fake retirements,false promises,foolish training and more.
Which of those came from team Haye's mouth/arse?
Challenge with points my friend, not with invalid wise cracks that don't even at least achieve...humour.Comment

I don't trust the guy as far as I could could throw him given his previous, but got to give him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion.
Personally, I don't think Haye's camp went as well as he would have you believe. Hence, why he was going life and death in sparring about a week out from a fight. Also, if he wasn't wearing a headguard, it was just sheer unprofessionalism/******ity on both his and Adam Booth's part.
On a separate, but related note, I know from speaking to people at the initial press conference that there was a genuine belief that Haye did not really want the fight. After the fight was originally agreed, the goalposts were continuously moved. After Haye's relentless PR campaign to change his public image, they knew the finger would be pointed at Fury if the fight did not happen. He was waiting for a better offer, which obviously didn't materialise.
It will be interesting to see if the fight does eventually take place. I have my doubts, but Haye's bluff has been called on this one.Comment

That's the problem. Whatever happened, if he didn't have such a history of pulling out of fights with questionable injuries, no one would be so mad.Team Haye felt the lack of sparring before the Wlad fight due to the genuine toe injury, also reduced his performance and ring sharpness. They got in some good sparring partners and went extra hard at it for this camp. Haye got a real passion back for sparring and in his own words says he's a fighter and just loves fighting. He got so excitable he for the first time this camp really ramped up his threats against Tyson. Saying I'm busting up my top sparring partners and there'd smash him. Even sparring videos being released against a name isn't common of haye.
Groves got sick to death of the even more than usual focus on haye and his training camp. He thought it'd fade once some of the sparring partners went home. But it didn't and haye was loving it,pushing it so much with the confidence of beating up some good sparring opponents he went hell for leather with this big croat. Groves with his attitude grew tired of it all, fell out with the stubborn awkward Booth, and left. This Croat seeing how others faired against haye in sparring even with public view, wanted to quieten Haye's brash invincibility just a bit, make a name for himself and push it slightly harder in sparring than he normally would.
Haye got cut as a result of all these factors. But also sparring so heavily,so close to the fight, without head gear. He's genuinely gutted about it and wants the fight. But he's cried wolf before and is getting some karma in messing around and bending the truth, pulling stunts before. Booth is left trying to clear up the mess he's half caused with his camp behaviours and attitude. No Grove's and no big haye fight guaranteed, and probably less likelyhood of a vitali fight now even if they do gain furys benefit if the doubt to wait for him.
Karma. I was really looking forward to it. I've always been a Haye fan, even if he did fight an idiotic fight against Wlad. But, I've kinda had it with him. I don't care if it wasn't his fault.
What's the point in signing a fight with Haye, when theres a 75% chance something fishy will happen? And there's a very good chance the fight will just be called off? Lets move on, and get some dudes that can get through a training camp without injuring themselves all the time.Comment

You mean this isn't what really happened? Found this at another forum. Classic lulz!!!
Is it possible that David Haye faked his cut with make-up?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actors in many movies and TV series use make-up to make it look like they've been cut.
For example, there was a lot of make-up used to create sword "cuts" in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. There were some very realistic-looking fake severe cuts in that series.
It's relatively easy to use make-up to fake a smaller cut over an eye, than to use it to make it look like you have a deep gash from a sword on your abdomen.
Is it possible that David Haye is faking his cut over the eye to get out of the fight with Tyson Fury?Comment
