London - Hennessy Sports would like to reassure fans following the extremely disappointing news regarding the British super-fight between Tyson Fury and David Haye, set for September 28th at the Phones 4 U Arena Manchester, as we endeavour to do all we can to resolve this situation and reschedule a new date as quickly as possible.

We would like to officially apologize to all the boxing fans who have supported us, bought tickets, booked time off from work and booked hotels prior to this news and thank you for your patience as we look to announce a new date.

He wouldn't make 20% of what a Haye fight will get him though. Risk your 0 for £1mil or risk it for £5mil, i know which i'd choose.

Without question, I agree that it was the smartest business decision and career opportunity that could have been made for Tyson Fury at the time. All I'm saying had team Fury, known then what it knows today, that David Haye would sustain a cut a week prior to the fight and subsequently forcing its postponement; Perhaps they would have considered moving in another direction, since Tyson was so close to a world title shot and this delay potentially could only set him back even farther.

Will be interesting to see if this fight ever does materialise now. Certainly from David Haye's side anyway.

I have my doubts about Wilder, but respect to him for being willing to have a fight at short notice. The only reason it isn't happening is because of Sky Sports.
