Judah and Gatti would be funny. Both dancing around trying not to get KO'd.

Unless Gatti landed a jackpot punch against Judah, there would be a great danger of Gatti being beaten by Judah. But why take the risk. Bladomir is certainly beatable and should be talior made for someone like Gatti. But Gatti did beat an undefeated fighter last night and in good fashion. it doesn't mean jumops on the Gatti band wagon and proclaim him the next champ, but it does mean he is still a player in boxing.

Im a Gatti fan, but he is so overrated its not even funny. So much that there are fans that would give him a chance at becoming the ruler of the welterweight division. But i notced there arent too many Gatti huggers on this site.

I used to think Gatti was the man. Right up to the PBF fight. Then he just was so out matched. I still love Gatti but more for his heart than for his skill. I still want him to win every time he fights but won't put money on him any more.

[B]I hope that Mayweather decides he wants the belts after Gatti beats Baldomir. Floyd should announce that if Gatti beats Baldomir, then he will ask Gatti for a rematch for the welterweight beltS.

That way, Gatti would be forced to either admit that he won't fight PBF, or he'll just choose NOT to fight Baldomir to avoid that situation.

That would be the best way to underscore the ridiculousness of Arturo Gatti being "a welterweight champion".

So from what I'm reading you guys think there's no chance for Gatti to go back to 140 for a Gatti vs. Hatton or a Gatti vs. Cotto fight?

Gatti should avoid those two guys they are too young and strong for him. Gatti cant battle like he used to, but I could see him making a very competitive fight against Cotto. If Gatti was smart, he would just fight guys like Dammgard and retire after 4 fights.

The thing is, he did what everybody said he'd do against Floyd...he lost. To change your opinion of him because of it doesnt make sense..nobody gave him a chance to win that fight. In alot of ways, he is a winner...he made a huge payday (thats a win of it's own) and he showed he'll still get in there with anybody.
Anyway, he looked great last night and showed massive heart and durability...continued to use the right when it was bothering him. Damgaard gets props for taking it all night long, and his corner should be ashamed for letting the beating continue as long as it did. Good fight, good effort by both guys, and a good stoppage.
