The writing was on the wall with this fight even back to Matthysse's fight with Soto. Even though I was still favoring Matthysse, I said long before the fight, that Soto would throw punches when Matthysse was in range and it made Matthysse hesitate to throw his own. He freezes and waits

I said if Danny can get off his shots first, he could win it. Although the Eye was a factor, I do not believe it really affected the outcome.

to me Lucas was winning the fight until the closed eye. But the eye did not close by it, but by punches. Danny won the fight fair and square. I still Lucas in a rematch though.

There is i real good chance that the fight may have went different. But Garcia did the damn thing and boxed a real good fight. Stayed in the pocket even when he didnt have too. Maybe...maybe not !
