Garcia also deserved a warning for excessive holding. There's clinching and holding, he was holding. Completely killed any fighting on the inside.I can talk about pulling the head down and the rabbit punches, but I'm not. None of those were intentional either, I don't even think a point should have been taken realistically speaking but keep complaining though. I see how things turn out when it's discovered one isn't the monster he was being pushed to be. You should change the user title as well, I don't even know whether you were serious with that or not.Comment

Matthysse for the most part covered his body well, so when Garcia threw the left hook to the body his punch would slide down under Matthysse's guard. It's the same reason a lot of fighters got warned for hitting Arthur Abraham low, if you remember some of his past fights. Of course Abraham would also put an act but it happened legitimately at times.Comment

I remember a sequence in the 11th where he clinched Matthysse, Weeks broke them, Matthysse came in, Garcia again clinched him, Weeks broke them, Matthysse came in, and AGAIN Garcia held both his hands. That's excessive.
Was the right strategy to take against Matthysse though and it worked. If Weeks had just warned him, he would have watched for it and not done it as much.Comment

I thought you meant his overall performance, well that's a sequence then. Personally, I don't think either of them could fight on the inside. Garcia I knew that down right, Matthysse's ability to fight in close was always in question, I think his performance against Garcia pretty much confirmed it for me.I remember a sequence in the 11th where he clinched Matthysse, Weeks broke them, Matthysse came in, Garcia again clinched him, Weeks broke them, Matthysse came in, and AGAIN Garcia held both his hands. I though Lucas had some inside tools he just hadn't had to use yet, but nope. There really isn't much there when he's on the inside and with the way he comes into his opponents, he's always constantly smothering himself.I thought you meant his overall performance, well that's a sequence then. So now we can add Lucas' TEAM to the heap of **** that is his hype "machine" ... I've been hearing for the past few days that "it's not Lucas its his fans".. Well here it is people.. It's his team too. I wouldn't be suprised if Lucas didnt feel the same way, of course he would never utter those words in public himself. Birds of a feather. SWIFT SMOKED THAT ASS THOUGH .. so all is well.Comment
