you cnanot compare a technician with power like golovkin to an all out bralwer with power like matthysse.

golovkin had over 300 amateur fights, and in a non olympic year was the amateur world champion. the following year he won silver at the olympics. the man is a technician.

And this. Again, comparing Mattyhsse and Golovkin with the reasoning that "both have been hyped on NSB before being p4p" is laughable. Pure comedy IMO

im saying the guys on here who say get the funeral ready and **** like that is dumb. gg and lucas were hyped cause of their power but gg really hasnt beat anyone with half a pulse. stevens is a step down from his last fight but he has power so hell be looked at as a god until he loses

I can't speak for those guys. GGG hasn't had the chance to beat anyone with a pulse. He doesn't even have a resume yet. But keep in mind his last fight was a guy who pushed Mrtinez to the limit and drew with Sturm. And most Golovkin detractors want Floyd to fight Martinez, so there's some pulse for ya.

GGG is NOT hyped because of his power, bro. Maybe the 2013, semi racist-only like Golovkin-and-Mattyhsse cause theyre white hype him because of his power. But for the 10000th time, as a Golovkin fan with some common knowledge, I can tell you before anyone even knew about this so called ridiculous power, people knew that he was an amateur champion and Olympic silver boximg medalist. A SERIOUS technician with sublime boximg skills, ring stalking ability, ring iq and on top of that some very heavy hands and serious natural power (a lot of that due to his technical brilliance)


Theres an ignore button bro, if you have to ignore those posters who only like Golovkin because they want him to beat Floyd, do it.

i like ggg but lets remember what happened to the last guy who was hyped like crazy on here and was gonna put his opponent in a coma and kill him ect. stevens has little chance but ggg isnt p4p yet

well, first of all ggg isnt fighting garcia hes fighting stevens. that alone makes a huge difference, entirely different class.

second ggg isnt just a puncher, he has a tremendous amateur background. thats why i always been impressed by him, mainstream fans always get excited about power and thinks someone is a beast just because he can punch. power dont mean **** if you cant land though, but with his amateur background ggg has the skills and smarts to land.

i compared ggg and matthysse in the past since its the perfect example of a good puncher as opposed to just a hard puncher. the ability to set your shots up. i never understood why more ppl didnt recognize lucas' shortcomings, ggg isnt perfect but he is a far superior fighter to matthysse.

those shortcomings however are mostly defensive and stevens can crack. another guy with limited all around ability but crushing power, the superior all around fighter in ggg shouldnt allow him to land anything big but if he does stevens most certainly can capitalize.

for starters ggg needs to keep that right hand up higher and tighter when he throws his left hook. also tighten up the right hands and bring them back faster and move either the feet or the head after you finish the combination. finishing combinations with a right hand and standing still is the last thing you want to do with stevens as his money punch is catching or rolling right hands and firing his hook on top of it. shocked gggs trainer didnt notice any of that.

this video makes me less certain ggg will come out on top, not more.
