It is to bad the whole card has been scrapped. If it wasn't though I don't think a Fury-Thompson fight would have happened or been smart. To much risk to little money before the Haye money train rolls in.

It would be a calculated risk and maybe quite lucrative. Tony Thompson is known in England for his two big wins against Price and I think British fans would get behind their home fighter to 'avenge' those loses. Also, I think the promoters should had a contingency plan for a possible Haye injury or other delay. It's bad planning IMO.

What is Team Fury gonna do now? If they rescheduled the fight, it might not be until next year.

But seriously, why's Peter sayin this ****e? I spoke to Haye after the injury, he spoke briefly about how he didn't mind rescheduling it. Cuts happen, look at Ali-Foreman, postponed by 6 weeks in Zaire...ma***in Zaire in the middle of war torn Africa. What's Fury pissed about? Look at Froch-Ward, same ****.

Haye's got a big cut, it ian't gone heal in a week or 2, postpone the fight till late October-November. Who's Fury gona fight? Chisora? That's a high risk, low reward fight, especially if Chisora comes in fightin shape. The Fury camp gone n lost the plot.

I just don't see a TT fight bringing enough money to take a chance on losing the Haye fight. I could be wrong and underestimating England's desire to see him fight and beat though. With the fight scrapped there plenty of time to make a stay busy fight before the new year.

You're right, Jab. It'd be in Fury's best interests to have a stay-busy fight against a can. TT is a risk.
