I dont understand why david gaye would be sparring heavily a week out from the biggest hevyweight fight in england?unless he posts some pics of a legitimate cut, I cant help but to think he pulled out on purpose maybe cuz he was unprepared...probly wont see this fight this year.

He was prepared alright; his team released a vid of him in 'beast mode' last week sparring with a 'who's who' of heavyweight fighters. My guess is, he was going at it too hard, maybe without headgear, and he got cut - it happens. His team probably should have been winding down his sparring and training camp to avoid something like this.

I'm pissed that Team Fury couldn't get a replacement opponent.
