No we are saying don't use Bradly as an excuse for Khan failures. If Khan was hanging around the Jr welter weight devision to Bradley, knowing making the 140 weigh limit was killing him, then that his bad. A good example was Floyd, when he tried to make fights with Cotto and Hatton at 140 and nether was willing to fight him, he moved to 140 and the rest is history.

Personally, I think Prime Amir was astonishing, and should've been able to beat anyone, if he developed some good boxing IQ, since he also hits hard. He's a boxer than can bust your face up.

But other's hit harder, and are tougher, or happen to be on PEDS ( Lamont Peterson ), and Amir never developed enough boxing IQ, or potshotting techniques, to offset the fact others are stronger than him.

But if Amir had the boxing IQ, along with his insane speed, hard hitting, and boxing skills, Amir could've been a true force to be reckoned with.

That is one thing that separates a Linares type from Amir. Amir hits hard. Look at Dannys face after two rounds with Amir, and look at Dannys face after 12 with Lucas.

He's not necessarily my favorite, but he's among the group of fighters, I just love to fight.

The only guy Floyd's team is talking about is Khan right now. They threw Alexander's name out there to get Guerrero to agree to their terms. They know that fight would bomb on PPV. Danny Garcia and Lucas have not been considered for a Floyd fight until now. If Floyd told either of them to come up to 147 and fight him next May they wouldn't take another fight at 147 first. Mayweather Sr., Floyd himself, and Shaefer have all mentioned Khan since last weekend's fight. Most fighters would wait to see if Floyd offers before taking a risky fight in Alexander. That was my point.

Wait....it's Bradley's fault Khan lost two in a row and was running for his life from the 4th round onwards in his come back fight? I always thought it was down to his glass chin, zero defence and even less ring intelligence. I'm so glad I checked this thread now, thanks for clearing that up.

Also to the person giving Khan props for taking the Alexander fight.....he HAS to take that fight, if Khan wins a title, it'll slightly justify him getting a shot at Mayweather. If he was to wait until May, like someone suggested 'most would do' he'll still have no title and even less chance of fighting Floyd. He must take this fight, it's make or break for him.

Obviously they're trying to position Khan to fight Floyd. I think they've been trying to do it for the past two years.

Alexander Floyd seems to be the fight they really don't care about. But Khan, obviously, because of the money. He's the one they want.

And Khan didn't lose two in a row. Anyone in their right mind would not give Peterson a win over Khan.

If Khan beats Alexander, Floyd - Khan is a done deal. If not, I think they'll look at Danny Garcia, who has a much smaller base, but it would be a more marketable fight than Floyd-Alexander.
