It's a shame cos I think he would've beat Bradley and then we'd have seen the Mayweather fight at 147 which would have been hot at the time. It seems to have lost its lustre now though.
Just because you or anyone else "thought" Khan would've beat Bradley doesn't guarantee it would've happened. People thought Khan would've beat Garcia and it didn't happen. You can use the training camps or weight excuses if you like, but we've seen it happen before. Khan gets put down in the middle of his ****** combos from waist height and we saw it happen after. So a fight didn't happen. It doesn't give Khan a pass from failing to handle his own business in the ring. He was supposed to be fighting the winner of Garcia/Matthysse, but we knew that wasn't going to happen. Too big a chance of more "bad luck" coming his way, I think.

Bradley had to get rid of his promoter (Gary Shaw) in order to get the PPV fight with Manny. So it was a must for him to skip the Khan fight...

For Garcia to be in line for a shot at Mayweather, he HAD to beat Mathysse, what he did masterfully. Thats why he was on his undercard, to promote a futur fight, before that, Garcia was just another name to throw in the conversation.
Now he is the one who deserve the big fight.
But every path is different, Bradley also deserved the Pacquiao fight.

He unified twice against two top dogs of the division, what you want more?
I'm a fan of Khan by the way, hopes he beat Alexander, he provides entertainment, The King his good for boxing.
Garcia did not have to beat Matthysse. That's like saying Bradley HAD to beat Khan to build interest in the Pac fight.

That should have been the case but Bradley found a way to weasel out of it. I'm glad Garcia didn't try to do the same.

        That was his choice.
obviously the casamayor option came with pacman on the back end. he got into top rank and actually tried to convince bob to make some fights with golden boy after the pacman victory but arum wasn't interested. i still dont see y people care anymore. bradley is still undefeated. khans fans are hurt cuz their fighter has been knocked down a couple pegs. its misplaced frustration aimed at bradley. bradley had just taken a showdown style fight with alexander. its not like the guy was ducking threats.

Bradley was about 4th or 5th choice to face Pacquaio when he got the fight.

no he wasn't. i don't think you grasp the concept of how top rank's promotional company operates. once bradley signed with them he was on the short list of possible opponents. him & JMM were the only viable options that were in top ranks stable at the time. guys like Mayweather were never going to happen being with GBP. The only other guy out there at the time was Peterson & Bradley had beat the guy. In reality he was only behind JMM & thats why you have only seen Pacman fight against those two guys until now that Brandon Rios has finally been brought along enough to fight him. Bradley had the Pacman fight signed sealed and delivered when he signed with Top Rank. He knew it was only a matter of time.

Cotto rematch was the first choice, they offered Cotto the fight.

Cotto did get offered the fight but at 147. He had already been campaigning at JMW. Cotto passed on the fight and became a promotional free agent (no longer under contract with Top Rank). Cotto would not agree to move back down in weight and actually got a huge payday with Mayweather so it turned out to be a great move. Your right though if Cotto had gone down for the Pacman fight he would have gotten that shot first. It likely would have come with the catch of a promotional extension though.

I don't know why you dudes are arguing. If Khan faces Devon in December, we won't have to worry about Khan's overrated a$$ any longer.
