Comments Thread For: Jorge Arce Faces Aldimar on 11/16, is Juanma Next?

A world champion in five different categories, Jorge 'Travieso' Arce, will return to the ring on November 16 in Mexico against Brazil's Santos Silva Aldimar (18-5, 9KOs). According to Zanfer Promotions, if Arce wins in November they are going to try to make a fight with Juan Manuel Lopez in February. Juanma stopped Aldimar in nine rounds back in Feburary, but had some trouble in the fight. Arce (61-7-2, 46KOs), 34-years-old, has not fought since last December's three round TKO loss to Nonito Donaire. For his part, Juanma (33-3, 30KOs) has not been in the ring since a four round TKO loss to Mikey Garcia in June.

No fighter truly retires when they say they're going to retire. I fully expect Kelly Pavlik to do a alcohol rehab program then make a ring return saying he's got his life in order and that he found religion.
