I think Canelo could possibly beat Cotto too. Cotto looked good in the Floyd fight and props to him but if Floyd really wanted to shut Cotto out then he could have. Cotto just has problems with bigger guys with jabs. Cotto also is not a defensive fighter so Canelo will get some shots off. Just because Floyd made Canelo look that way don't mean Cotto will. I respect Cotto more than Canelo and think he is better but Cotto should stay at 147 because 154 is too much for him size and style wise.

Hatton had a better blue print and Canelo didnt get edged he got a one sided ass whipping sitting on the ropes, that doesn't happen to world class fighters

If it would of been Miguel Cotto that night, it would of been lights out! Im not saying that Canelo would not do his thing with Miguel cause Miguel is in decline right now but it would be a helluva fight. You can never count Cotto out. Look at what happened to Matthysse.... Prime example.
How long ago was that? 3 or so years when Canelo was 20........that's like saying when mayweather got hurt against chop chop corley, if it had been Shane Mosley at that time it would have been lights out!

Come on man, mayweather is a lot better now right. And I would say so is canelo

All Hatton did was wrestle. I like Cotto vs Marquez better and Canelo at 160 vs GGG or Chavez Jr.

People act like Cotto will just lay over. I see this fight being a 55/45 favor to Canelo based on youth and size

In 4 common opponents ( Gomez, Mosley, Floyd, trout ) Cotto has outperformed Canelo
            3/4

Depending what happens out of the Rodriguez fight this would be a good fight for both guys

If Canelo presses Cotto, he dominates him... The styles and attributes dictate it. Cotto, win or lose, struggles against physically stronger opponents (Mosley, Margarito, Pacquiao, Clottey, Trout were able to force him backward). Canelo has good timing, defense, technique, and offensive arsenal to boot.

If Top Rank and Freddie can't convince Cotto to move back to 147, Canelo-Cotto will happen next. Until then, people can ********** to Canelo getting hurt by Jose and use that as their reasoning for Cotto winning...

The problem is Cotto isnt gonna roll over he took a plaster beaten and took a knee and went out on his own accord, and gave took a good beating from Manny but kept boxing and survived before the frivolous stoppage.

Canelo doesnt have the stamina to implement this game plan over the course of a long fight, plus if you go at and stalk Cotto please believe you wont come out unscathed bloody and battered, Margarito, Manny and even Floyd found this out, with Canelo sitting on the ropes taking punishment in the Floyd match basically quitting, is he built for that type of war...................

Lmao whatever roger...you are just saying that in because Cotto gave Floyd a run for the money. Your hoping canelo dominates Cotto so Floyd's victory looks good over canelo.
