Canelo didn't look like an excellent fighter this past weekend.

floyd obviously didn't fight miguel like he fought canelo (against canelo he moved a lot and picked his shots) against cotto he stood his ground and threw combinations...........purposely went to war.

if we're going by triangle theories like that canelo beats cotto because he beat trout

It's pretty hard to look excellent against Floyd Mayweather, to be fair.

I've been a fan of Cotto his entire career..Cotto got a better outting early on in the fight because Floyd was more willing to engage and wasn't using his lateral movements as much early. Cotto is entirely too slow at 154, just about everyone and their mother has stated so including his own former trainer. Cotto is now with Roach trying to learn to learn to use the weight for delivering more powerful punches which means he will become more methodical because outright fighting at the weight will not suit him otherwise. Sorry to say this but it's the truth and Canelo puts Cotto to sleep by round 10..Miguel should have never left 147 where his frame benefits him the most....getting lazy and moving up in weight when you are undersized is not a great move.

Good match making Canelo will wreck this version of Cotto and the match will be PPV worthy.

I felt Cotto won more clear rounds than Canelo so lets stop putting stuff on Canelo he aint earn he didnt dominate Trout he lost and majority of boxing press felt that way also, so please dont start with the Trout mess

I felt Cotto lost 7-5 and Canelo lost 8-4(+1)

SN: Not to mention the open scoring which Canelo won rounds when he wasnt moving his hands, canelo then got on his bicycle knowing he would win by any means as long as he didnt get put down or dropped. Trout then had to shift his strategy from jabbing his head into trying to stalk and drop the bigger man, which caused him to get dropped. The Canelo fight was frivolous and should have a * cause of the circumstances......

Canelo is a great fighter. He went toe to toe with the best in a chess match and just got edged thats all.
