Well, when he jumped up to heavyweight and challenged for a title held by a man nearly 40 pounds heavier than he was, i'd call that facing advertisty. And to answer the question, Jones kicked Ruiz's ass!

Roy also wouldn't of beat Ruiz if it wasn't for the biased reffing. Nady clearly shifted the fight in Roy's favour because Ruiz couldn't get on the inside and FIGHT which was his only chance against Roy. You try being 250 lbs and SLOW and fighting a 200 lb guy who physically is far above you.

The fight was fixed in Roy's favour. They deliberately chose Nady because he has the tendency to break up clinches fast.

You have to be joking my friend, Roy Jones in his Prime was a exciting fighter, his natural handspeed and power says it!, Roy Jones Jr in his Prime 96-2002 would beat the **** out of Tarver and Glen, I dont know why there are so many ignorant "fans" in boxingscene

Alrightey. Just remember Lacy will unify, Brewster will be undisputed champ, AND Taylor will go down as a great. Yep..

Your wrong. The job of the referee is to allow the fighters to FIGHT. Ruiz wouldn't of held on. His only chance was to fight on the inside in CLINCHES. Ref was clearly deliberately chosen.
