    The IF Factor (Discuss now)

lets play this game, ill start first.

    1. IF Roy Jones didnt lose 2 times to tarver and once to glen, and retired after beating ruiz and tarver by MD he would have been considered the greatest lightheavyweight ever?

    2. IF Mike Tyson didnt lose to Lewis,Williams,McBride, and instead beat all 3 of them and was ruling the Heavyweight division would he be in the TOP 5 Greatest Heavyweights of all time?

    3. IF Lennox Lewis was undefeated (which means he didnt lose to McCall and Rahman) And had the same Resume only is undefeated this time, would he be considered one the best? (although he already is one of the best)

    1. Nope. You can't be the "best ever" in a division when you can't even become truly undisputed. Roy's entire LHW reign was "disputed" by almost all knowledgable fans and writers. If he had beat DM, and then beat Ruiz and Tarver and retired, then you probably have a case.

    2. If Tyson could have become champion for a 3rd time, ended his career as undisputed champion, then I think he would be top 10 all time HW's, but probably not top 5. Ali, Holmes, Louis, Marciano, Foreman, Johnson, and Dempsey would probably still all be above him.

    3. Lewis is one of the best- a focused, in shape Lewis would have given any HW of any era trouble.

1.no, roy did not fight the best there was, there some fights he refused to take and without the rematch with tarver he will be doubted

      2. id rank tyson top 5 with that, simply becasue the way he would have dominated bigger opponents

      3. i dont like lewis i just dont like him

          1. He wouldn't of even been in my top ten.

          2. He's in my top five of all-time anyway.

          3. Probably.

              1. No. Guys like Charles, Moore, Foster, Tunney, Spinks, Langford, Conn - I believe would still be above him.

              2. No, but he would be close. Only for the Lewis victory though. I may rank him around 7th-8th, instead of 11th where he is now on my list.

3.It would boost him up a little. Inside the top 10 comfortably.

You honestly don't rate Jones up there with Billy Conn, Archie Moorer, Bob Foster, Michael Spinks, Ezzard Charles, Gene Tunney et al, do you?

the LHW's you named JuicyJuice actually through punches in bunches. That's the problem with Roy, and most fighter's today. They seem to potshot or throw at the most 3 combinations.
