Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto Looks To Finish Career With Top Rank

Miguel Cotto has made quite a few changes since the last time we saw him in the ring losing a unanimous decision to Austin Trout at Madison Square Garden. Cotto has since acquired the services of renowned trainer Freddie Roach and has returned back to working with his former promoter Top Rank.

In 2012, Cotto became a promotional free agent and worked with Top Rank rival Golden Boy Promotions as he secured a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr and Austin Trout in the process. The monetary rewards were indeed lucrative but he went winless during in his 2 fight stint.

Now that he is back with his former promoter, it looks like Cotto intends to finish off his career with Top Rank. [Click Here To Read More]

Cotto vs Rios at 147 would be so bad asss. I can imagine rios ring walking with margarito too for that fight would be crazy in MSG

GBP can offer Canelo, not much else. Cotto knows what he's doing.

Cotto vs Martinez. Makes to much sense.

Marquez vs Cotto would do HUGE numbers for Cinco de Mayo or September 16th.

I know Mayeeather is suppose to fight on those dates but this fight would easily out do Mayweather's ppvs because he has no competition that would be worth paying to see. Unless he fights Martinez.

I like Cotto a lot, but this mofo needs to quit bouncing around trainers.

I'm saying though top rank don't really have no 54 pounders over there. I don't see what fight they can offer Cotto unless he move back down to 47.

Bradley-Marquez winner, Vanes-Andrade winner, Pacquiao, or Sergio.
