Ariza's a mercenary... A mercenary that loves the spotlight... He was on the verge of giving a tell all interview criticizing Arum to a boxing website while having 2 of Top Rank's top fighters as clients. He wouldn't burn bridges for bestseller money? Of course he would, especially if his clientele list is slimming. That book would receive plenty of promotion and sell a ton of copies.
That said, I think the that the blood testing issue became an issue, not because of Pacquiao being on something, but because it served as an obstacle that allowed Arum to use it as smoke and mirrors for a Floyd fight he never wanted.Comment

Did you notice rios didn't stick with Memo because he knew memo was dirty and he would get him busted( good for rios bravo) but he knew better than to keep memo around and thats why he has ariza a more honest trainer.Comment

so ariza is clean now that he has a client going against pac. he has always been clean i dont think rios would risk his reputation by getting caught with peds.thats the reason why he got rid of memoariza knows his sht. articles make him sound like an ****** but he's a smart intelligent guy. floyd fans/pac haters hated him until now, but theyre just 2 faced and now pac fans that used to defend him will probably hate him. i've always been real about it. the guy knows his sht and i believe him when he says manny hasn't followed his program since margarito. look at his performances and it shows. rios is going to be a new animal inside that ring. i believe in ariza. i don't think he supplies steroids to fighters, i think he knows his sht and it'll show when he transforms rios. theres vada testing for this fight so no excuses.Comment

memo and ariza are friends and associate with the same connections.... memo got caught.....just cuz ariza didn't does not make him honest!!
I think its up to the fighters if they wanna go that route... then both memo and ariza have the connections!!! and if you notice ariza has nothing bad to say about memo!! I wonder why!!
but I doubt any of the 2 would take a risk right now cuz things are hot!!Comment

IMHO i think the truth of Ariza's departure from Manny and Jr's camp was his ego and his work ethic. You heard it.....he was doing everyone else's job and taking all the credit not to mention that NOBODY got along with the guy. Fight camps are supposed to be motivational, productive and a team effort on everyones involved part in the grueling hard work. Alex clearly was NOT a team player. It was all about him and people had enough.Last edited by LAPete; 09-19-2013, 06:28 PM.Comment
