I can't believe i just read GGG going to 168 is comparable to Floyd going to 160..this is getting crazy
A legit GGG win would be?

You would have to take into account that if Golovkin maintains his current fight night weight he will be undersized at SMW just as Floyd is at WW (not an issue for him though). That's a difference that should be noted too. Floyd's run is still very impressive though.Comment

wait wait wait..............
what does the GGG crowed want? (which in realty is the lucas crowed)
because I'll tell you what i want............i want to see ggg against bika, kessler, froch. if ggg is serious about retiring in 5 years (with a poor resume & age 31. as it stands) no need for him to be wasting time cleaning out a weak division. according to them everyone is ducking at middleweight, so why not just move up? move up and face bika as your first challenge........
I'm talking realty.............now if you want to talk to me about canelo, mayweather, cotto. you're in wonderland.........those fights would never come off for ggg. unless he campaigned at 154 & picked up some decent wins at the weight (which a campaign @ 154 is not happening) no words to say towards that type of argument because it's remedial............out of space with the stars & planets.Comment

proska and macklin are solid wins. ppll saying that he hasn't fought anyone are exaggerating, blowing things out of proportion and are scared to fight him. wins against murray, barker, sturm, geale and quillin would be more solid wins in his resume. but a win against martinez would be even better. even with the injuries and age catching up to him, martinez is the middleweight king(for right now anyway) and i still think he has alot left in the tank.

you hit the nail on the head there, great pointmacklin was a decent fighter. he blatantly beat sturm in germany, and gave martinez real problems.
good boy completely destroyed him. with golovkin, it's not only the wins, it's how he wins. that's what keeps thisese guys from taking fights.
when he hits you, you stay hit.Comment

i'll give you the fact that i am also a matthysse fan but i feel golovkins ceiling is much higher. this guy isn't as flawed. i have no doubt he cleans out his division. chavez jr would be his biggest threat there imo just because of the size difference. i believe he beats them all though and i have no doubt his power translates to 168. Lucas's power on the other hand I'd be skeptical about saying he would carry it as well to 47. GGG does beat alot of 168 pounders. GGG wants to retire in 5 years you say? i was not aware of that if its truewait wait wait..............

GGG is legit, not his fault people don't want to fight him, GGG's job is to beat the whoever they put in front of him, it's his promoters job to find the big name opponents. The hate for GGG doesn't suprise me, most of it is misguided frustration at his groupie fans.Comment
