Comments Thread For: Haye: My Sparring Partners Would Batter Tyson Fury!

David Haye has aimed a shot at Tyson Fury ahead of their heavyweight clash on September 28 by insisting that his sparring partners would be able to beat the Mancunian.

Fury will put his unbeaten record the line against former WBA world champion Haye in Manchester in what is one of the most anticipated grudge matches in British boxing.

Haye, who has 26 wins and two losses on his record, will go into the clash as a favourite despite giving up six inches in height and seven inches in reach to his 25-year-old opponent.

But the 32-year-old, who defeated Russian giant Nikolay Valuev to claim the WBA belt, is confident his stable of sparring partners will have him more than ready to face Fury. [Click Here To Read More]

Haye can say what he likes but Fury has taken on and beaten 4 unbeaten prospects. Most fights in Fury's career are against competitive opposition and have been a progression up the ranks. Fury's resume looks much nicer lined up to Haye's at the equivalent point in Haye's career, plus Fury is still unbeaten.

I think the Fury fight is going to be a lot harder than Haye realises. This isn't Audley Harrison or Enzo Maccarinelli. Fury isn't a John Ruiz or Monte Barrett. Steve Cunningham would have given Haye all he could handle, but Haye doesn't fight many tough opponents.

Haye's best wins are Chisora, Valuev, and an old Mormeck. Already twice defeated, once by a bruiser and once by a boxer, I doubt Haye's comments put the fear of God into Fury.

Fury' best win is a grossly out of shape and disinterested Chisora. Haye beat a much better version of Chisora much more impressively.

When Haye fought him, "old" Mormeck was the consensus no. 1 cruiser and was coming out of his career best win (Bell). Macca was two fights removed from beating Wayne Braithwaite. They are both FAR better fighters than anyone Fury has ever fought. Heck, even Fragomeni is.

Haye will make it look easy against Fury.

Fury is garbage,no coordination,no skill,he is just a big dude, and thats it..the canvas will make a lot of noise when Haye knocks him unconscious..the skill level is tremendous

If Cunningham could drop him, then Haye is gonna stop him.
