I didn't make a prediction on this fight other than to say it was 50/50.

Garcia's all right with me, but poor reffing is poor reffing. I cringe when that idiot Weeks turns up on the car advertisment we've been polluted with over here.

hatton and mattysse fans are one in the same there guys maul clinch and rabbit punch all they want but as soon as someone stands up to them and returns the favor it's blame the ref time.

lucas rabbit punched danny but it did nothing he hit danny low it did nothing danny beat his ass and broke his face and knocked him down in a fight not a tickling contest as hatton once said.

Don't think so.... Garcia closed Matthysse's eye with a left hook and then dropped.... Garcia basically beat the shat out of Matthysse.... Fractured his orbital bone..... Garcia partying in a club after the fight while Matthysse is stuck in a CT Scanner getting his head examined....

Garcia survived and won the fight because of his hugging and clinching, which have become part of boxing nowadays. Refs don't give a damn.

Garcia fought smart. He did everything within his capabilities. He even fouled effectively. Weeks didn't deduct a point until the final round. The way I see it, a fighter should try everything in his power to win a fight, whatever he can get away with. If the ref doesn't do anything about it, keep doing it. It's ultimately the opponent's responsibility to fight back. Matthysse should've punched Danny square in the sack the first time Garcia went low. Lucas is probably too nice a guy to do that, and he paid the price.

im not saying danny dind't land any low blows ,but i saw low punches from both fighters not as many from lucas i agree but my point is it was a fight.

both guys went at and danny won the keep it clean excuses just don't work when both fighters don't fight clean.

In my last post I wrote what I think about dirty fighting. I don't have a problem with Garcia's approach. I have a problem with Weeks and his weak (pun intended) officiating.

Let me just say that Matthysse's fouls seemed purely unintentional. The same can't be said about Danny's. There was just one time during the fight where Lucas pulled Garcia's head down and Danny scored low. The rest of the time, Garcia was hitting Matthysse in the groin like he had a bulls-eye painted on it. Those shots were too spot on and too frequent to be accidental.
