Would they pursue it? I know Robert said he'd back Donaire..... but the road to a FW title seems slim and that'd be his only choice. I'm surprised they aren't targeting Chris John or something for Donaire. He's just sitting there in Indonesia and Donaire might be able to win that one... but it's hard as hell to win in the Dragon's Den.

As for Shumenov... I want to give him a pass for not fighting for over a year... but IDK WTF his problem is and he needs to man the eff up. He still has his title after what... a year and a half of no fighting?

Actually in a most recent article, Robert said those reports were NOT true And he never said such a thing. He said something along the lines of "we haven't thought about this yet. This fight is a possibility but both men have upcoming fights, we have to take care or business and them if that fight happens, we will discuss it then and I will have to choose one, obviously"

Call me crazy but I think he might choose Gradovich if that was to ever happen..... It seems he's a camp/gym favorite and that might not mean much, but seems they really like each other IMO.

The Shumemov thing is insane. I'm sure you heard the story where on top of the inactivity and him not being stripped, the #1 contender to his title (and has been for like 2 years) is an unknown Kazakh (I've never heard of him personally I Dont think)............ Who's promoted by.......

. You're right though, he had a chance to fight Kovalev and turned it down I believe because hes been so inactive. I hope him coming back this card means he's back for good and will fight some live opponents next year, but now that I think about it..... I know Kov has the Stevensom fight pretty set In stone, and POSSIBLY a Ward fight next year.. But maybe we see a Shumenov-Kovalev unification sometime next year? Wishful thinking but Kovalev (assuming he wins obviously) could possibly have 3 titles next year at 175- In a sense that there is no network restrictions between Kov-Shumenov-Adonis
