My loyalty to the badassery of 'Manos De Piedre' won't allow me to pick against him in any fantasy fight. That's just how it is.
Whitaker is another favorite of mine all time, though. He unfairly gets a lot of slack from newbie boxing fans for being a "runner" when he routinely fought in the pocket against bigger men just for the lulz.
Plenty of love to sweet pea, but I say Duran breaks him down and decisions him over the course of 12. -
I say if Leonard frustrated Duran and made him quit then Whitaker makes him pull his hair out and sit in the middle of the ring Indian styleComment

That's an NSB fanboy myth. Whether or not Duran quit due to being "frustrated" is entirely open to debate and will never be known for certain. That said, the scorecards at the time of Duran's quitting indicate a much more competitive fight than what these NSB idiots who never saw the fight outside of clips on Ray Leonard's "Beyond the Glory" would have you believe.
Duran was definitely live in that one until he quit.
Regardless, it's one quit in a career that spanned 119 fights. If you're counting on Duran to quit then you're really risking it all on a pretty slim (0.8403%) possibility.Comment

I don't know. He could've been frustrated, he could've had stomach cramps like he said : We'll never know for sure. It's not my game to speculate.
What I do know is that, given his professional career, counting on Duran to quit is a foolish reasoning for betting against him.Comment

i got duran skill along with punching power pea would clown him but duran will goat pea into fighting infront of him which will be his undoingComment
