IMO Roach is losing it.
Parkinsons is no joke and while Freddie's condition is sadly worsening he has a tremendous staff behind him at Wild Card that is second to none covering his bases. Freddie is a loyal friend and trainer to his fighters who instills confidence and security like one has never seen. Freddie is more than a trainer...he's a good soul that brings so much more than technical training to the table.... something that more fighters need. For Ariza to make such ****** comments just makes him look worse than he is.... Disloyal and non thankful for the opportunity that Freddie had given him.Last edited by LAPete; 09-18-2013, 09:23 AM.

Ariza is a short order cook and a push up counter
Ariza is nothing in boxing but a cook and sit up counter. Ariza offers zero value outside of a decent meal and a good count on push ups. Ariza looks himself but knows nothing about boxing. Ariza is a loser.

Conditioning is one of the most vital aspects in boxing, Ariza pretty much made Pacquaio. He took him to the next level.
He was a decent enough fighter and already a 3-4 weight world champion before he went to Roach.
Ariza is right. You think this massive, massive losing streak is by chance?

Manny stops his S&C = looks garbage after, gets KTFO in the fight after.
Khan gets a new S&C who don't know his ar5e from his elbow = Looks worse than ever, hitting the deck more times than a slut on a dancefloor.
Ariza is the best S&C in the business. His results are undeniable. Hell look how soft Khan looked since. Manny too not to mention a whole host of others.
He knows how Mannys body works better than Manny does himself, better than Roach ever will.

Before PAC got with roach he was a one handed fighter and super wild. There's no denying that roach did a great job on manny. Now before PAC got with ariza PAC always had speed, power and stamina. If anything PAC actually looked slower with ariza than how he looked before.

Manny is not as dumb as some of u make Him Out to be. If manny really felt great while under ariza he wouldn't have agreed with roach firing Alex. If u look at mannys interview when he's asked about s/c and ariza he always say he knows the routine already and he can do it on his own. manny is a nice guy u can tell he's holding back u can tell he wants to say s/c with ariza makes no different than when I was doing it on my own but PAC is too nice he doesn't want to throw ariza down like that.

And we really don't know if ariza was any help or not because PAC was always naturally bigger when he was fighting at the lower weights so when he moved up in weight he was fighting at his actual weight so there's no proof that ariza magically made PAC gain weight successfully. But not to count ariza out, he did play a small role in pac's success as he moved up.
Conditioning doesn't just help improve stamina. It helps take a shot, recovery from a shot better, he was stronger, hit harder & it allowed him to be more explosive without overreaching. He gassed in the Bradley fight, he looked sloppy as hell vs Marquez.
I don't really see the difference in skillset Roach has made particularly. Hes still the same fighter in terms of ability he was before apart from his fans claim his right hand is better, this & that.
If it was all down to Roach then you'd expect Manny to of looked decent in one fighter after, same with Khan etc etc
Conditioning is a major factor in boxing and how most fights are won or lost.
These fighters did nothing but win when working with Ariza, as soon as he left, everyone of them lost or/& looked rubbish. Can't be a coincidence surely. Every single fighter, come on..
