It's a shame his super hardcore fans - who now find themselves making excuses - turned people away from Lucas. He's a good dude and a real "throwback fighter". It's a shame that Angel turns so many off of Danny (including me) because he's a real fighter as well. Both guys deserve respect for fighting through adversity that night, and yes, they both had to deal with quite a lot.

I picked Lucas to win the first fight, but for the second I'd give Danny the slight edge. It's close though, they're fairly evenly matched, but it may turn out that Garcia stylistically has Lucas' number.

I honestly thought he was gonna get stopped due to the swelling. I was glad that he fought through it and the corner was able to alleviate the problem. It's also rare when a fighter thanks the titlist for the opportunity, that's humility. Hopefully he comes back strong in February.

Much as disliked him due to the lack of respect clowns on this board gave Danny. Dude seems really cool. Not sute about a rematch though. Danny won pretty convincingly

It depends how you define 'almost'. He was fairly close on the scorecards, so he definitely had a shot to win it in the later rounds. Danny pulled it out though.
