He might not be the same, the fight wasn't stopped with him being on his feet, conscious...he was put to sleep by a hard shot!

Just have to wait and see.

Hatton was a guy who could walk through punches from the likes of Kostya Tszyu. He was in a lot of wars, and his punch resistance notably diminished after Mayweather stopped him.

The Singsurat fight was a body shot against a severely drained Pacquiao.
The Torrecampo fight was a head shot that knocked him out cold. Yes, both was early on his career, but he still managed to reach the top after those severe loses.

The guy tasted defeat, however many ways one can serve it... He got outboxed by Morales for a clear loss. Got outboxed by Marquez as well, on numerous occasions, but it didn't stop him from coming back and knocking people out.

I'm of the opinion that he'll be fine, but only until after the Rios fight we'll know for sure.

Plenty of fighters got stopped and resumed their careers. Every man is different so can't say until we see him fight.

I like Pacquiao I'm Filipino after all but I just cant ignore the odds (Rios 4-1). Rios is a young confident fighter. Pac is a busy congressman who got knocked the **** out. Most fighters never recover from a shot like that. Chuck Liddell used to be known for his hard chin but after being knocked unconcious fighters like Rich Franklin who broke his dominant hand in that fight knocks liddell out with a jab.

Whilst you have to take that account its also worth noting Rios is made for Pacquaio, he has never fought at Welterweight and doesn't have one punch power, he grinds guys down.

But not fighters who were out cold for almost 10 minutes. I'm talking about the Hatton KO, Roy Jones KO. I cant really think of fighters who came back after being out cold. And i've been watching for a long time.

I thought he showed one punch KO power against Alvarado in the first fight.

He will probably try to fight smarter this time around. Maybe a little more defensive. The KO probably did affect him in some way, but it will take his opponent to expose that in him and Rios is the type of opponent that could bring that out. Don't look too much into the fact Rios is coming up one division. He's still dangerous for Pac.
