So, am I the only one who felt Matthysse was outclassed in the fight and that Danny should move on to another big fight? I mean, i don't have a problem with a rematch, but IMO, Danny was CLEARLY the better fighter, and I'd like to see him move on.

If this is true and they really do have a rematch, Matthysse has a lot to work on. His quickness, his defense, his footwork.. Danny was just better all the way around IMO.. And this is coming from a Matthysse fan by the way

You're right but the fact of the matter is that he shouldn't have to rematch him. Garcia beat him comprehensively.

That's what I don't understand, Garcia clearly won that fight. There is zero need for a rematch. I think this is just wishful thinking on Lucas's part. Why rematch against a guy who you just beat soundly? That doesn't make any sense.

Good news, it was a competitive fight and the eye may have been a big factor. Props to Garcia for giving Matthysse another chance. Wouldn't be shocked if it turned into a great trilogy.

Matthysse is just a B class fighter with power. He has very little boxing skills, he's uncoordinated, and he has poor defense. He will get his ass kicked again if they fight. He will lose to any fighter with good boxing skills that can stand up to his power.

Honestly this is a ****** move fr the Garcia's imo. Danny is clearly the king of the 140 division so why not move up and look for a Mayweather match?
