Matthysse actually started to be more aggressive when his eye swelled. I thought he finished strong minus the knockdown.

Which is my point. Props for danny on landing that punch, but Matthysse with two eyes was winning, and taking over the fight in the 5th and 6th. How often does one punch cause an eye to swell up in seconds? **** luck for Matthysse, but that is boxing.

Garcia does deserve credit, it was no walk in the park. Forgot what round it was, but late in the fight Mathysse landed a right hand that took the mouth piece out of his mouth, the ref stopped the action too quickly there to recover his mouth piece as Mathysse was trying to work.

Garcia landed 20% of his punches through the 6th rd.. He wasn't landing jack ****. How often does one punch in boxing cause an eye to swell shut in seconds. We see it here and there, but it's just **** luck. Like I said, that is boxing, not an excuse.

No way this is true. Danny has the leverage, why would he sign up to fight a guy he already beat (a very formidable guy as well) and not take a moment to consider his options. There are bigger fights at 147 that would pay him way more.
They are still counting the receipts from last weekend, not way Golden Boy and Garcia's team have had a chance to sit down and talk business much less hammer out a deal for a rematch that fast.
