I get that the Matthysse fanbase was annoying, but now people are exaggerating the reality of the fight to fit their "in your face, I called it right" agenda, ignoring all the good work Matthysse was doing before the fight changing swelling of the eye(props to Garcia since it appears to have been punches that accomplished it) or the circumstantial condition that allowed the knockdown(shove+ropes, not questioning the call since it was in the middle of fast action, but those were circumstances that chances are wouldn't repeat themselves)

I'd still make Matthysse the favorite in a rematch, even though Danny is a good fighter.

Remember that a while back, people thought Mike Alvarado couldn't beat Rios in a rematch.

that's because matthysse was supposed completely obliterate him. anyone who knew anything about fighters knew it was going to be competitive, but since some felt like having the fanboy blinders on, they didn't want to see it that way.

Now that Danny knows he can take Lucas power it will be worst for Lucas.
I thought Lucas was hurt by Danny's power several times. Let the rematch happen Garcia wins easier this time and Lucas will be a little more reluctant to throw recklessly, witch is his only hope.

I dont think this is true with Danny moving to 147 I highly doubt it.

There is no reason for a re-match it will be the same or worse for Lucas.

I believe Danny will win more convincingly in the rematch. Angel has seen holes in Matthysse's style that Danny can exploit. One thing I noticed in the fight was that Danny could have followed up his right hooks to the body with a right hand over the top because Matthysse dropped his elbow and was slow to bring it back up. Matthysse's defense was pretty good against the left hook. He knew not to lunge forward and telegraph the right hand, which I actually thought he was going to do. Matthysse's power relies on that lunging setup and Danny's timing thrives off of that.
