Agreed... People spend a lot of time worried about what guys like Garcia and Floyd are wearing or thier business outside of the ring. Seems like its misplaced anger and it comes from them bien on the outside looking in for the majority of their lives... People who are are used to success and are comfortable in their own skin generally have no problem lettin people know where they stand.

My friends say I lack empathy. Personally, I never understood that crap when people default to the underdog.

I back fighters based on their style, skills, and whether they're American.

Some external disadvantageous circumstances that they happened to come from shouldn't give them extra brownie points. It's not like they consciously made a choice to have second rate boxing training as they were growing up.

Just a theory... I think there's some truth to it. People of certain personalities tend to gravitate towards certain things. Why wouldn't the same be true in boxing.

I remember sitting in an asian lounge during the Clottey-manny fight.

I was basically the only Floyd fan there and talked a load of ****. manny's fans, like him, followed in his footsteps and just sat there keeping their mouths shut

Yes he did, in fact he looked superb showing an innate ability to neutralize Lucas and withstand flush shots to the chin. I've seen him fight live twice now and will do so whenever possible.

But he still looks ****** in that horrible video
