I think Garcia's style plays right into mayweathers hands.. garcia needs a fighter to rush him to have any real success... Matthysse, Khan... he had trouble against an old overweight boxer like Morales...

Garcia is a top fighter, and would beat most though.

Floyd should be fighting fighters his own size. the GGG and even the Martinez fights are ridiculous.
GGG is around the same size as Canelo. Canelo was actually heavier against Trout than Golovkin was when he fought Macklin.

Floyd is too good for any fighters his size at the moment. There is no drama. Pacquiao is probably the only one I would like to see in the next year.

Fuck Floyd if he takes this fight. Fuck him for even considering it for that matter.

He'll get hate no matter who he fights.

Might as well chase that money.

As B-hop said when your that skillful the weight dont matter floyd mayweather could beat anyone at 140 147 154 160 no question the only problem with 160 is its way to much weight for floyd to put on it might even take a whole year to achieve a walk around weight of 157 regardless if he could train eat sleep good at 158 the Sergio martinez is the route to go he called money out now money should cash that cheque NEW MIDDLE WEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD as for pacquiao lol

Not interested if Floyd is hurting Canelo, he's putting Khan into a coma......

Honestly Im not too interested in seeing Floyd at 147 even thou thats his weight, aside from Garcia he has no challenges

His dormant power was also very visible Saturday just as it was vs Cotto as a Floyd fan Im wondering is 147 and 8 0z gloves killing his hands and power, he let his hands go with no regards at 154

Khan rarely loses a round that he doesn't get hurt in, of course he gets hurt every second round or so.
Ahah, brilliant way to put it and very true!,

I wouldn't say it's a good fight though, entertaining and fan friendly? yes.

Now, Mayweather keeps on talking about "going for the K.O. " , if he fights Khan he might keep his word, for once... or well, maybe a KD or two?

Mayweather didn't fight Canelo at 154, you expect him to fight a MW at 154?.

Besides, in my opinion that fight makes no sense whatsoever.

If GGG needs some big name in his resume, he should fight guys his size or bigger, not a 37 years old welterweight.

Quillin and Martinez are both good fights if they can be made and GGG would become linear champion by beating Sergio.
Or you have Chavez jr who only recently moved up, Ward is looking for an opponent, nothing to do?. Call out Froch, or go get Bikia's belt and then challenge Ward again.

These are good fights for GGG to prove himself as the real deal, not another welterweight.

At this stage, GGG is the one who needs to prove himself, not Mayweather, who is 3 (or is it 4?) fights away from retirement.
