Oh can you now? I'm pretty sure Matthysse got robbed in that fight.

In fact, so did Kotelnik. And he quit against Bradley. And I hope you are not considering Lee Purdy or a almost 40 year old Bailey to be "top notch".

    But whatever dude.

So Khan is a worthy challenger because he's English? I understand this a business, but the guy looks to have next to no chance against Floyd.

I hate to admit this but I think that that Lamont Peterson bout has taken more out of Amir Khan's than what many had originally speculated. Even though in the eyes of boxing fans, he still won the fight against him; In despite of all the point deductions and the official scorecards.

Sadly, though that fight may have ended up causing him some permanent damage in the process. He absorbed some of the most relentless and vicious body punches that I have ever witnessed in a prizefight from Peterson but yet seemed to be unfazed by them. Moreover, I've never seem Khan run around the ring so much in order to avoid that kind of punishment.

Now I believe that the cumulative effects of those punches he absorbed in that bout are setting in and have aged him. It's very similar to AlI-Frazier III. Ali may have won the battle but it ended up costing him his career. He was never the same after that fight.

I can see similar parallels in Amir Khan's career also. Since that Lamont Peterson fight he has not looked the same. His skills appear to be diminishing. He was stopped by Danny Garcia, his hand speed doesn't appear to be as fast as it used to be but more importantly his chin and legs seem to be more vulnerable and susceptible than usual also, as he was recently floored and rocked several times by a smaller and older shopworn fighter in Julio Diaz who has seen his better days.

It would be messed up if Alexander beats Khan and then gets ignored by Mayweather.

Khan's gonna get his ass whipped again. We all know what happens when he overlooks his opponents, he gets whipped so bad he dances around the ring like a giraffe. He's got a biscuit chin, Devon isn't a big puncher but he's no Malignaggi he's got enough power to have Khan break dancing like he usually does.

No, but the fella said "nobody is interested in watching Floyd fight either of them" - And I strongly disagree.

If Alexander beat Khan, I firmly expect that to happen.

But I don't think it's messed up, the dude can hardly fill an arena in his home town and Floyd is all about the dollars.

Alexander doesn't really add anything to Floyd's resume or bank account, at least Khan does that.

And they're probably only or primarily interested because Khan is English. Boxing is a business, but it is also a competitive sport. A guy shouldn't get a shot just because he's popular. Sadly, it seems to happen too often.

I think Khan is one of the most entertaining fighters around - so does many other non brits. And so what? How many americans were diehard Canelo fans? Or Marquez fans?

Of course I have a stronger feeling towards Khan because he grew up no further than 40 miles away from where I grew up - That is often the case with the majority of fighters.

Khan also provides a stylistically interesting match up to Mayweather with his speed. Something Floyd really hasn't seen since say Judah.
