Because the only time DiBella has ever had a star it took Top Rank/Arum feeding him Chavez Jr... I mean seriously DiBella is a terrible promoter Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams II in a 3,000 seat building with like 1,000 tickets sold?

      3 PPV's, dude, it's more like 15.

Abdullaev, Shane, Malignaggi, Margs x2, Pac, Floyd, Foreman, Mayorga, Judah, Quintana ....

I was just pointing out the big three. With just those three, that's 3 million PPV's sold.
Average million in the last three

I understand the point of the article . . . basing not even hearsay, but deductions from hearsay . . . to make a claim that isn't a big deal in the first place. If HBO prefers to work with Top Rank per Miguel Cotto, SO WHAT.

What the hell does Dibella have to do with a Delvin Rodguez vs Cotto match anyway? He doesn't promote either. Was he just a third party promoter that wanted to promote the fight himself?

Gaby Penagaricano could be lying about HBO and Top Rank not having any options on Cotto just to keep up an image. I heard Steve Kim on his podcast say that they do have options despite what Penagaricano said. It really makes zero sense for HBO to pay that much money for a tuneup without any options in his next fight.

Dibella was cut out of the promotion and it was solely a Goossen Tutor promotion. It was the only way Paul Willliams would agree to the rematch. And there was a crowd of 5,500.

Cotto has just come off two career defining fights but because he loses to Trout who was a stylistic nightmare he must be done? You people are unbelievable, the same bloody people who were saying Mayweather must be washed up because Cotto gave him a good fight.

Lou doesn't have anything to do with them, which is why I stated, from the beginning, this article is a reach. If the writer doesn't like HBO, that's fine. Everyone is willing to pass on the Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 19, and Nov 9 cards if they wish. Since I love boxing, I will be watching each and every one and enjoying them to the fullest extent.

And maybe I'll even tune into a kid called GGG on November 2.
