Jesus guys.. when are you going to learn?

Floyd sr and Jr both said they were going for the KO, it was just a lie to fill there pockets with money. They do not care about giving the fans action, and the only people who defend Mayweathers performance as masterful are the people who can't admit they spent another 75 bucks on a boring card, not once did he even try and please the fans, yet you morons lick his b@lls.

It just signifies that close to every other fighter in the world is more exciting than Mayweather. Even his uncle and mayweather sr were more exciting fighters! Floyd, rightfully so will never reach the ranks of the greatest, and it's because he has the mind of a genius but the heart of a rat.

I'll await some sweet science ph@ggots trying to justify the fights, only one of worth was lucas vs danny and even that felt cheap and overhyped. No knockdowns, eye swelling (lucky)and a fair few clinches.

Just admit it: you thought the one was going to be amazing, and it was garbage.

Cant wait for Bradley Marquez, Pac Rios, Provodnikov Alvarado and Golovkin Stevens. Despite what you may think, they're ALL going to be more exciting, and I bet even floyd fans know it but wont admit.
Why are you trying to force your opinion down everyone's throat? I enjoyed the card, simple as that. I wouldn't call myself a boxing purist but I enjoy a good display of skill just as much as I enjoy a knock out.

The Garcia / Matthysse fight was a good, evenly matched fight with lots of hard shots exchanged. There was only one knockdown because both guys have good chins.

Canelo is much bigger than Mayweather so I wasn't expecting him to win by KO. I did however, enjoy seeing Mayweather's defensive display while standing in the pocket. If you've ever tried to make someone miss while standing directly in front of them you'd have more of an appreciation for Mayweather's defense.

just cause he was 153 for nobody trout lol means he can make 152 for p4p#1 King floyd mayweather and still perform better then he did in the trout fight where he barley won and was gassed since round 5 LOL.

Weight Classes exist for a REASON!.

And could have Canelo fucked up canelo at 154? we will never know right? Obviously mayweather didnt have that much faith or else the fight would have took place their.
Stop *****ing like a little girl man, nobody forced Canelo to fight at 152. If he'd have stood his ground, they would have fought at the full weight.

There are fighters that are very successfull that I won't drop a dime on! If I don't like their style I won't watch them its as simple as that. It doesn't mean I don't unerstand their success or think that others should agree with me but if I'm not excited to watch them I don't!

To me, Hopkins, Floyd and Wlad to a lesser extent are boring fighters who are promoted as a great fighters to a current culture that does't understand the difference between a boxer who takes no chances and a boxer/puncher who forces the fight to be exciting!
I prefer an offensive fighter who brings the fight to his opponent.
Not everyone can do that their as rare today as an outstanding defensive boxer! The very best are the men who do both!!! Ray.

          ****ing eh, man.

Mayweather literally spent at least 70% of that fight standing right in front of Alvarez. He spent quite a bit of time moving at a backpedaling Alvarez. He had a round where he spent a minute landing at will on Alvarez while the ginger was on the ropes.

wasn't about to shell out for the PPV, stream was just fine
Lucas-Garcia was good and genuinely surprising
Floyd-Alvarez wasn't bad, Floyd put on a good show in the fight
disappointed he didn't try ending it late, but he put in work
you can't call that performance from him boring
and who expected Molina-Smith to be anything but shit?

If standing in the pocket means that you throw an average of fifteen power punches per round and connect 8 then I really need to quit watching boxing. The main article on this site even states that he mainly threw jabs. The statistics are there to prove that he definitely is just jabbing. The friends that I had over were waiting the entire fight for more action and albeit it never came. I am glad that I was able to save them money.

Cano-Theophane was a fun fight to watch. It will be forgotten, unfortunately, but it was good.

No, I'm not a butt hurt Mexican who thinks Mayweather didn't demonstrate domination, on the contrary. But I'm simply left with an empty stomach for more action. I refuse to call what Mayweather seems to always do a, "masterpiece", which imo he's far from. Accurate? Yes. Quick? Yes. But why do true boxing fans pay $80 to see someone jab & run all night? It's absurd. I refuse to respect a boxer who uses his feet more than his hands & calls himself the best ever. They sold us short, we deserve more.

I guess I'm a fan who loves to watch a fight at its best from both corners. But admittingly, all the trash talking, all the media, all the promo they do doesn't reflect how fight night goes, most of the time. The more expensive fight, the less they actually fight. Often times, I think to myself 'boxing has to be nothing but a long never ending soap opera controlled by Vegas. Will Mayweather ever lose? Who knows. But what I do know is that after generating this amount off fighting Canelo, they will fight again. After all Money May loves money & fighting any other boxer but the biggest rising star (even after his loss) won't satisfy his ambition. But this time around, they sold us short, we deserve more.

Just food for thought, I guess.
The card pretty much went as planned so I'm not sure what is worth complaining about.
