I completely agree with you. I don't think any fight could match this one in terms of hype/revenue. There's nothing left. A pacquiao fight would still be huge (though never will happen), but that's it. I don't see any of floyd's future fights doing well, aside from maybe a Khan fight (big ups to the UK). He won't be making 40 mil again. DG v. May = no mexican fans. Sad but true. I don't think people will drop $$ for a PR guy on mexican independence day/cinco de may.

Can he make 154? Can he even box competitively anymore? As we know that "Floyd doesn't weigh in on fight night cause hes really 160+" is a lie since he did a fight night weight vs Canelo and was 150.....under what he weighed in at. Martinez needs to show something, or its a huge risk for him....though the money will be worth it so even if he can't hell prob take a 154-156 CW. I'd say Garcia's earned it more tho, hes been underdog and worked his way up....Sergios been on his way out.

yeah, that's why I'm questioning the business sense of May wanting to fight in May. There are no Mexican fighters out there anymore for Mayweather to face! His only options right now are Garcia, the winner of Khan-Alexander, or Tim Bradley if he beats Marquez and then somehow gets out of his TR contract. Broner's not ready even if he gets through Maidana in November. Mayweather probably just earned the most he'll ever make in a fight, I doubt it gets this lucrative for him again.

Agreed, there's always someone for Floyd to fight. There might not be anyone competitive at WW, but there's always someone trying to get that big opportunity.

I mean I guess, but it's hard to get excited for this fight honestly. Would much rather see Garcia fight the likes of Thurman, Guerrero, Broner/Maidana, and Alexander/Khan. Still, I wouldn't be mad if he cashed his ticket in, who wouldn't in his position?

Only guys I'd really like to see against Floyd are Manny (if he beats Rios and gets another good win) and Bradley (if he beats Marquez) and those fights not going to happen.

There may not be Mexicans left for Floyd to fight but they can still stack the card with a big fight for that fanbase or even two depending on perhaps Gonzalez-Mares 2 and Santa Cruz-Kiko Martinez maybe.
