Garcia deserves this shot, but Mayweather would beat his ass.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts. Plus, I'd like to see him have a fight @147 first

        Way too soon for him

I don't want to see it, he needs a win at 147 first over a credible opponent, Yes he did his thing at 140, but Lucas and Zab are not 147 boxers

Garcia vs The Ghost would be a good fight, we can see him handle one of Floyds recent opponents

I think what you're saying makes sense, but I don't think it's going to make a difference. I'd personally expect Garcia to beat Guerrero, but if he does, and in convincing fashion, then what? It's not going to mean that Garcia has a better shot against Floyd.

Floyd's challenge now is that he proved to the casual fans that he's the best. To these fans, Canelo was seen as the most likely candidate to hand Mayweather his first loss. Canelo is young, strong, physically bigger than Floyd, and, in the eyes of some, a smarter and better skilled fighter than past Floyd opponents. And it didn't make an ounce of difference.

Garcia deserves a shot but I wouldn't pay to see the fight.

This would be a cherry pick IMO. Danny hasn't even had a fight at 147 yet. Let devon get the shot after he beats khan. Danny is only 25 and still developing. Mayweather would be too much too soon, devon would be a better test at this point. Let danny get his feet wet at 147.

It's the fight I want to see next.
No Dan not yet at least let danny get his feet wet at 147. Mayweather has too much speed. Devon would be more interesting than danny right now, devon is in his prime and has a strap.let danny fight him at fight #5.

This is the honest truth to me. Why does Broner get easy fights against guys like Paulie and Maidana while Garcia gets fed to Mayweather in his first fight at the weight?

He showed he has tremendous upside potential, he's building a fanbase, has plenty of momentum and a 119-109 schooling at the hands of Mayweather would damage all of that.

Some fighters bounce back from bad losses while others lose their confidence and never get back on track.

To me Thurman is thee single most dangerous fighter at welterweight. Including Garcia landing there.
